This is your Mac's default message anytime you use a program that's not from Apple's App Store. To bypass this message, press the Control key and click the Worst Draft icon, then choose Open from the menu. Click Open. The next time you use Worst Draft, it will open like any other app.

Why does Worst Draft save my files as .wd?
This ensures that other applications can't open and edit all of your hard work (until you decide to export). It also lets Worst Draft keep track of how many words you type each session so you know when you beat your high score.

Just open Worst Draft, click "Open Document" and look for your great American novel wherever you decided to save it (did you check the folder "My Great American Novel"?)

Under the "File" menu, select "Export." You'll be able to save your work as DOC (Microsoft Word document), RTF (rich text format), or TXT (plain text).

Nope. You have to start from scratch. This is supposed to be the WORST draft.
